S Class Coupe C217
Discussion
I always had a soft spot for big Mercedes coupes and lately started looking at used S Class Coupes.
Reading the reviews, I can’t tell whether it is worth paying a premium for an S63 over S500 or is it worth going for a 4 liter restyling model (S560 b S63).
Any owners here that can shed some light of how are they to live with in terms of driving feel and running costs?

Don't discount the CL600.
Bi-turbo V12's were never very thick on the ground & they're now becoming extinct (BMW & Aston being the hold-outs)!
My experience is that a V12 transforms any model into which it's fitted compared to the V8 version.
The turbine smoothness, effortless torque and tunability (should you want to) lift it into the class above - V12's are a rarefied group, the true aristocrats of the automotive world.
