E270 broken down -no power and plumes of diesel smoke - help

Can some one advise what the issue could be on Mercedes. AA said it was an injector that was stuck open. On my carsoft diagnostics only get glow plug error.

you need to look under to see if the engine has a hole in the block?
cat/exhaust blocked, smoke coming from an odd area.
