engine warning light

During the pandemic, my car (2014 C63 W204) has been used only a very small amount. The first six weeks it wasn't driven at all. Then when I did start using it, it was only for very short trips, around a mile each way and about three times a week. So it didn't really even get warmed up properly. Yesterday I started up normally and went on a still small trip of about 5 miles non stop. When I got in the car today the engine management warning light came on. The car has only done about 400 miles since it had a full dealership service including new plugs. My question is, do you think it is because of all these very small trips and also will the management light go out after a few good length journeys? Thanks.

Personally I would find an excuse to give it a good run and see what happens...
