Battery Alert on Mercedes Me - Something to worry about?
Discussion
Hoping someone else has had this issue, and may be able to help.
I have an E63s Estate 2019. Unfortunately in recent months it has been sitting idle for obvious reasons. After about a week of inactivity I get an alert on Mercedes Me to tell me the battery is discharged and has reached "critical". I have a Thatcham Tracker that has a nifty bit of software that allows me to check the battery charge capacity on an hourly basis. I can see that it is gradually discharging from 12.5 volts to around 12.4 when the alert goes off. I've left it until it has reached around 12.2, and then chickened out and started the car and driven it around the local streets for 30 minutes. We then repeat this little game every week.
Mercedes have had it back and claim no issues with the battery, and I sort of understand that the Tracker is taking a continuous small amount of charge, but can I leave it longer between charges, are Mercedes BSing me and the battery is indeed faulty, do I just have to live with it and go on ignoring the alerts as they seem to be set too sensitively?
Any advice, or anyone experienced a similar thing?

Just wanted to update. Car went back to Mercedes Colindale. Agreed that the battery had some damaged cells and replaced it under warranty. Hope this helps someone else with the same problem.
Thanks to martinvantage - moral of the story, keep going back the manufacturer if you're not happy.
