x164 GL brake disc sizes - how to tell?

I've recently bought a 2011 GL350, which I am very pleased with. It didn't come with a great history, so I've taken it to my local 'national chain' garage for a quick oil change etc.
They mentioned the brakes and pads needed doing all round, and quoted over £1k. They'll fit the parts if I can supply them cheaper, but short of measuring the discs, which I can't do right now, is there a way of finding out the correct specs?
It seems there are about three different sizes looking at the various parts catalogues. There are also various options such as HD or Teves. Its tempting to get them to sort it, but feels like too much money to not at least try for a saving.
