Hi all
Got problem with code p0299 coming up and car going into limp mode.

Removed air filter on my c class 2.1 litre (2006) to get access to turbo, found the air intake hose loose on turbo. retightened and thought that would sort it, while I was at it I cleaned MAF sensor, fitted new air filter and checked the wiring connections were fully fitting correct on intake side

Using OBD ii on freeze setting and it showed the following

LOAD PCT % 61.6
ETC(F DEGREES) 192
MAP( in HG) 51.4
FRP( PSI ) 14922.9
MIL STATUS ON
FUEL SYSTEM MON OK
COMP COMPONENT OK
EGR SYSTEM OK

i do hope some one can direct me to the exact area of fault, especially a MB mechanic.

Thanks ever so much in advance.

A quick Google shows lots of info...
Something to do with a bad diverter valve perhaps?
You really need a scan with STAR to properly diagnose the problem.
Suggest you try a specialist forum such as MB Club UK for more detailed help.
They are a friendly bunch...

P0299 as you've probably found out is an turbo/supercharger underboost problem. Had this with the wife's Audi, one of the turbo intercoolers got punctured by flying debris resulting in pressure loss. Bearing in mind where it's located they can be vulnerable so maybe worth checking for any obvious damage.
