As title, I always thought the 55 rode too high in it's standard setting so opted to fit a set of lowering links just to drop by a minimal amount.

The instructions recommended altering the length of the links against standard by 8mm but I opted to just adjust by 5mm to give a 28mm drop.

Easy to fit but after some months lowered, I felt the front was too low and a bit crashy over bumps so I've lifted the front end slightly to make it feel more supple.

My question is though that although I've uniformly dropped the car, the N/S/R is a few mm lower than the O/S/R - should I simply adjust the N/S/R link accordingly to bring it completely level on flat ground or have it adjusted via STAR - which I think you can do?

The struts seem to all operate correctly and the suspension lifts correctly when the button is depressed for the two higher settngs

I'm glad you've done this job as it's always something I'd like to do on mine. I had mine on highest setting today to get rear shrouding off to clean and to polish the exhaust tips.
Whilst at it cleaned little stones out from the front arch recesses. See the sensor links and wondered if they can be adjusted or do I need them replaced?

Ps anyone know how to get rid of stubborn marks from AMG exhaust tips? Was using Autoglym metal polish it's ok but there must be something better to remove carbon buildup. Cheers
