Slk55 r171 spark plugs and throttle body

As 16 plugs is a pretty good investment, what have you guys been running??? Have you upgraded the wires at the same time? Iridium seems to be a necessity but what about double iridium? Brands? Any difference?

Not sure if it's loud but while I'm here has anybody upgraded their throttle body too?? Was looking to do the plugs wires and throttle body, would love to do a cold air intake but just can't stomach the price for a decent one.

Just ordered the JET Performance Powr-Flo Mass Air sensor. The MAF seems to look like a bottle neck on this motor. This says 40% more flow. Easy to swap in and out and for only 2 bills going to give it a try and see how it works.
