If you can bleed brakes and have elementary spanner skills then you should be ok. I don’t know how old the car is and what condition the underside is in, but the fun will start if the hose to pipe threads put up a fight, and will get very interesting if they are sufficiently corroded that the wrenching damages a frail pipe. If all goes to plan, a doddle, but corrosion will potentially escalate the job into splicing in new pipe sections.

how old is the car ?

if its a few years old then you run the risk of damaging a hard line , will you be able to get spares easily to finish the job ?

Would imagine you would be find on a 205 - they're not old enough yet to give you the normal corrosion issues.

Easy enough job to do. Don't get caught out twisting the hose when fitting it as most people do.

Thanks for all the replies. It’s a 2016 c63. I think I’ll leave it and get it booked in.. not worth the ag if it goes wrong.
