Afternoon lads n lassies, I'm on reserve fuel and visited the fuel station this morning where the external fuel cover that you open to allow access to the fuel cap is stuck closed. I've tried key locking and unlocking a few times but alas, nothing. Normally you just push in the outer edge of the cover and it springs out but it's refusing, it's evidently on lockdown!, anyone experienced this befor I contact the dealer, there's nothing I can see in the manual,
cheers guys, and stay safe :-)

I'm going to give one of those helpful answers of 'no, not had the problem' on mine. I've had similar on my Lambo and it was just a case of pushing around where the catch is and it freed up after a good few attempts and a modest level of panic and uncertainty about what to do. Beyond that, I'm afraid I'm of no help whatsoever!
try this it may help you it should be located in boot behind a panel

maybe keep it (some parts) greased somehow?
or maybe after some years it wears out a bit so it goes better?
or is it a case of, when cold it works fine, when warmer it somehow sticks?
does that (heat or cold) affects the system (different materials) somehow?
no idea how it all looks the lock and the parts around it, also what materials etc that could work different on temp?
