Could anyone point me to somewhere that I could get the name and contact details of the Dealer Principal of Mercedes Benz Dartford? I have an ongoing issue regarding a car I bought over a month ago and have been continually fobbed off by sales.

I'm now forced to go legal with it but would rather have one last go at speaking to someone in authority before I do so as I suspect that this is a result of arse covering at the bottom of the chain hoping the problem (me) just goes away.

Could you not just ask reception for his name and see if they might be able to put you through or maybe he could give you a call back?

I had a similar experience, I received a questionnaire from MBUK regarding my experience so I complained in that, next day I got a call from the terrible salesman saying they’d pay to rectify- where should they send the cheque? I’d be calling MBUK if you don’t feel the dealership is pulling it’s weight.

Tried reception and after 11 minutes(!) on hold got through to someone. Was put through to three other people before finally alighting on someone who could give me the information on where to address legal matters, but they apparently couldn't give me any information about who the DP was, or how to contact them,

That was the last straw, Small Claims application filed the same afternoon.

Try Gary Savage (Mercedes Benz UK MD). You can find contact details on google. I tried this and was passed to the MB executive customer service team. They got the issues resolved quickly.

Dartford is Mercedes Retail i.e. owned by Merc and not a franchise dealer.

Have you tried their customer services: https://www.mercedes-benzretailgroup.co.uk/mercede...

I don't think you're meant to just sue people without sending them a letter and giving them some time - ie 7 days - to respond.

Mercedes Dartford ABOVE THE LAW???
I bought anA250 4matic November 2020 42000 mls 14 plate Quality used accreditation. As I live in France I could not get the car out here until April because of Gov restrictions.About a month later after hearing bad noises under the car we discovered it needed a new rear diff at a cost of 4000 euros.Mercedes were told of this and said because I lived in France there was no warranty. This is nonsense because the sales contract is under uk law and was before december 31st. I had to have the work done because the problem got a lot worse.I have a valid claim under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 but they will not re-imburse me. This is despite writing to Gary Savage CEO who does not even have the good grace to reply, and obviously the dealership directly. I mistakenly thought dealing with the Factory owned dealer would give me some sort of security.I am amazed that in this day and age a company of the supposed standing of Mercedes-Benz Retail think the law does not apply to them. I am not new to Mercedes ownership having had many new and used examples over the past 45 years
