Anyone on here drive one of these? There are hardly any available in the country. Seem a good option to a Range Rover as they now drive rather well (from driving a G63 earlier last year).

Had mine for two months. A great car. What do you want to know?

Looks great. Have you had any issues at all? Infotainment or otherwise? How is it as a daily driver....what kind of mpg are you getting?

I’m hearing its like 22mpg compared to a G63’s 17-18mpg so makes having the diesel pretty pointless!?

I’m trying to get a test drive in one and all the dealers have G63s to drive and none have the G350d available to drive!

Been offered a decent discount on one so tempted but the PCP residuals are terrible when compared to the Range Rover.

No issues whatsoever in 4K kms. The build quality is absolutely peerless. We live in rural France so it’s size is not an issue. Might be for those in urban UK though. She is a big old bird.
MPG is c. 24, giving a range of 850km on a full tank. I am pretty sure you would get nowhere near that in a 63. I was going to go for the AMG, but just did not fancy the mpg/range angst. The 350 is pretty perky performance wise.
Best car I have had, period. For context, ex owner of LR, RR, Porsche, Aston, Lotus etc.
I also know I will never see another one like mine on the road. Nice to be different and unique. Highly recommended.
Funny, but G long-term residuals far outstrip RR, so the PCP deals are misleading.

Love that colour. I’m not usually a fan of tan interiors, but that really works wink

my G500 towing my RUF 930 from Oslo to Germany.

very charming engine, but for this sort of car I think a diesel makes sense. way better range.

I have the older model G Wagon and looking to now upgrade. Should never have sold my Range Rover but 2 SUV’s didn’t make sense, plus G Wagon was more reliable.

Only issue is that eversing when towing with current one is not easy as steering very heavy and steering lock is absolutely rubbish.

My question is about the steering lock....is it better than the old one.

I know I can google but nothing like first hand experience.

Thx in advance.

Lovely cars. Can't say I've seen a single diesel model on the roads but have seen a handful of the G63's.

Wonder if they actually sell more of AMGs as I guess few people actually buy them as working vehicles now.

A beautiful colour combo, smartest I have seen. This is on the list for me as the next car, time to find out the current waiting time I think.

How's it fairing one year on?

Do you have these wheels still? I may be interested if so.

Is that very short term ownership down to anything to do with the vehicle/way it drives /seating position ?

Bought it for my wife.

Was fully speced, but she wanted specific Gmanufaktur interior and dealer put wrong code in. Car therefore didn’t come as per spec despite it being confirmed twice by Dealer prior to delivery.

We asked Dealer if we could get the car we ordered but they basically didn’t want to know, neither did Mercedes when we asked for their intervention. We were told we would have to wait at least 12 months for another car and also incur addition price increases that would likely be present.

No more GWagons in our household.

As for driving experience - it drove far better than old one but didn’t like the auto braking when lane change activation was on. Was a ball ache having to keep turning off each time it was started up.

Bought wheels to compensate but she simply didn’t gel with it.

Absolute disgrace the way we were treated so decision was made to just sell it.

Was going to buy an AMG GT but have decided against that as well as a result.

Not prepared to support any company or Dealership that treats customers with such contempt.
Might buy the new Range Rover when they have ironed out all the bugs that will exist with the new model.

In the meantime, I have a complete set of MB supplied AMG63 wheels and tyres, centre caps, the whole 9 yards as they say.

That is appalling AMTony, absolutely disgraceful. MB is now a volume manufacturer with a dealer network in the UK focused on pile em high sell em on cheap finance type products which is a serious concern if one is ordering a bespoke £120k G wagon. The dealers simply aren’t up to it now, they don’t provide the service to match one’s expectations any longer. It’s a genuine concern, i have an outstanding order for a G400 and i am bracing myself for the inevitable cock up.
