I borrowed a CLS400d for 6 weeks, it was a lovely car, but had zero interest in being slung around corners so it depends what you want from a car?

The 53 would most likely be more of a drivers car but it’s still a big old barge.

Only real negative other than that is they’re still running the old COMAND system, which now looks terrible against the new MBUX. I’m sure they’ll be die a facelift soon where I’d assume it will be introduced.

If you’re looking to buy new I’d probably hold fire a bit.

Yea the new MBUX is on the 2020 CLA 45S shooting brake, I may test drive the new one in a week or so they do go well.
