Mercedes Me Dongle

Recently bought a Mercedes that's compatible with Mercedes Me via a dongle. Having registered it's asking me to go to my local dealer to pick one up.

Has anyone gone through this. Is there a charge? Do they try and upsell stuff or say you need to pay for an "inspection"?

It's free (at least for the group I work for)

You need to download the Mercedes Me Adaptor App and arrange an appointment with your main dealer, takes ten minutes to set up.

There's nothing to upsell you, your car won't go through the workshop.
