hello when i look at near new e63s estates that pop up and seem to be good value .. they all have very weird combinations of interiors finishes .. either not matching or just looking really bad

as these mercedes demonstrators they sell cheap ?

i wonder why MB would spec the car like this .. ?

I think it is all part of the design ethos. Many have a two tone 'leather' interior with a contrasting insert.I find the 'leather' very poor in quality and am considering on my C63 having the seats re trimmed with something of much greater quality. It isnt that expensive and will always look and smell way more elegant.

I think most demo's are specced up by one of the sales team members or amg specialist and it does seem like they just don't care when they put the spec together for example the centre console might be gloss black and then you'll have the trim on the dash and around the doors in a different material ie, aluminium finish.if they had taken a bit more time to look at the options they could've had the matching centre console and dashboard trim in black wood which is only £195 or full carbon for £2995. It's crazy to think sometimes just a simple option can make the difference between buying and leaving the car.
