Hi Guy's, Does anyone know if there is a space saver spare wheel which can be got for the 5.4 V8 because of the large discs, Thank you, Allan

Yes there is - has one of those weird collapsible tyres.

It’s under the boot carpet along with some tools and a compressor. I think it was standard on R171, but may also offer the ‘pump and goo’ tyre repair system.

True. The problem is the rear wheel and flay tyre won’t fit in the boot...

According to the owners manual, it will fit:


[b] Wrap the damaged wheel in the protective sheet provided with the spare wheel and put the wheel in the trunk.

Practical hints - The flat tire may be transported in the trunk when the retractable hardtop is closed

You just need to hope the boot wasn’t full!

Fine in theory, a little different in practice. Turns into a wrestling effort that even taxes a 6 foot and goateed company director, particularly with the larger rears.
