Hi all,

I've had my 2013 C63 Coupe since Jan 2016 and have always streamed music from my phone to the Comand unit. In the early days, I had a Windows phone and didn't experience any issues with playing music from it via BT to the Comand unit. I then moved to an iPhone 6S Plus and noticed that after a while of streaming music, the track being played would skip/glitch in places. I can only liken it to the early days when I had a CD changer in my old Sierra and every time I hit a bump, the song would skip a bit...we're talking 1995 here lolz

A few days ago, I upgraded to an iPhone 11 Pro Max and it would seem that the BT streaming to Comand is even worse with regular skips and pauses whilst a track is being played.

Has anyone else experienced the same thing?

Cheers

Yes...had the same with the new iOS 13 update. They’ve released two more updates and it’s improved it but still not brilliant.

Both of the last updates have stated ‘improvements to vehicle Bluetooth connection’ or some such. So I think it’s a phone software issue and there won’t be a massive amount you can do about it.

Many thanks! I was wondering whether to moan at Merc about it for the next service. I'll hold back on that "moan"...lolz
