a year ago i left performance cars behind and picked a very sensible range rover. loved it for a year but now im ready to come back to the world of 10mpg.

so ive got 2 cars lined up.
a 2011 c63 ppp 100k but full mb history and perfect looking in gun metal with cream leather.

or
new shape 2009 e63 66k full history, black on black.
both the same price
which would you take and why?

Different cars
C63ppp - brutal performance, great colour combination. Hard ride (on 19s) & chairs. Whiff of the taxi inside. Miley but well serviced.
E63 - sports exec. saloon. Morbid colours, especially inside. Comfier.

The black on black puts me off so would have to be C63.

I've had a CLS63 & a C63ppp.
I much preferred the CLS. I found the C too harsh. I'm getting old

Funnily enough it was the noise that turned me away from a C63. Had to smile - yesterday there was a new M3 in front and as the lights changed it made a racket just meekly pulling to the right with the flow of traffic. Utterly tiresome after a week of ownership.
