W219 - CLS55 - why so hot?

W219 2006 CLS 55, went to view today, seem to run mega hot under the bonnet, but 85deg solid on the dash - the passenger side wing at the front was so hot you could not touch it with your hand - anyone any ideas fellow Pistonhead peeps?

I've looked at a 500 and it didnt have the issue - i didnt think superchargers would do anything for that sort of heat?
