S124 e220 battery drain

Hi
Looking for some help with a battery draining issue.
The battery on my Mercedes s124 e220 keeps draining.
When I bought the car a couple of months ago the chap I bought it from said the central locking vacuum was leaking at the boot door. The central locking at the drivers door will lock the boot but not unlock the boot. When I unlock the door and get in I can hear the vacuum pump continue to run as if it’s still trying to unlock the boot. Can you get vacuum leaks and can a problem like this drain the battery pretty quickly?

Just to add
I used my car to use jump leads to start a mates car a coup of weeks ago and have since had the battery drain issue
