C63 at Bedford noise issues?

Anyone taken they stock w204 c63 to Bedford? If so how did you get on noise wise?

Should be fine. If it is non modified there wont be any problems.

no problem at all. I have done Bedford in my old C63 (2012) facelift model.

I will say this though. if your car is a facelift model you may experience overheating issues. This basically ruined the day.

google search c63 amg overheating issues and you will find my old pistonheads thread from years ago near the top of the list. If you are unaware it may be worth a read.

Completed Bedford yesterday and had a great time.

Static 88db. That’s a fully stock 2014 w204 c63 estate.

I did get flagged for noise. Just have to lift/short shift near the sound meters. Helps manage the temps anyway. Ran all day in manual mode.

Did you have any heat issues? Also, did you see a noticeable brake wear at the end of the day? Curious how much brake these go through on a full track day - I suspect quite a bit as they’re hefty old things.

Yes continuous heat management. I’ll make a air dam for next time.

I am running xp10 in the front. Did 1.66 tanks on track and the xp10 don’t look that used. They don’t squeal at all either. Stock rear pads.

It was very wet however.

At Silverstone I did a full set of pads in a day. 100+ track miles.
