E Class Convertible advice?

I’m looking at E Class Convertibles, with the 350 petrol engine, however I know very little about them, other than I fancy a change from Audi! Can anyone shed any light on things to look for, and what are the must have specifications?

I have a budget of £10,000 which looks to be getting me in a 2010 with around 60k miles.

Finally, I’m not a big fan of the alloys. Did any of these come with those AMG multispoke alloys you see on the more modern Mercs?
