I have a T204 2012, and the tyre pump blew both the fuse in the rear and the front, so they need changing. The manual says that the fuses are behind a cover on the end of the dashboard (mine's LHD so on the left looking forward) so I open the cover. A ruddy hole but no fuses. So, thinking logically, I open the bonnet, find the fuse box, and open it. Trying to be logical I test all the 15A (blue) fuses. All OK. No schematic so left scratching my head. Read the hand book, search on the internet as well which calmly informs me that the schematic is to be found with the spare wheel if there is one and is not supplied if there isn't one. Then I find that there is another fuse box in the boot on the right looking forward, open it and find not one but two blown fuses. Replacing them has restored power to both cigar lighters.

Forgive me if this has been posted before (I went back a few pages to check) but if not perhaps it might be of help to others in the future. Three hours to replace two fuses, and the AA advert says they can do it in under half an hour. I'd like to take a bet on it!

Yes, and everything is fine. Except my right leg muscles are quite sore now! On a serious note, it was an old pump and I am awaiting a new one to arrive. The Mercedes rarely needs a top-up, but I was using the pump for the classic prior to a track day.

When my tyre pump seized it took out its own inline fuse incorporated into the lighter plug rather than the vehicle fuse.
