Just traded in my wifes 2008 SLK for a 2014 slk 200 with the options of AMG wheels , vario roof , neck scarf , Sat nav and heated leather, everything on her wish list. My wish list however needed to include more power than the original ! Any thoughts or advice would be helpful. Smaller supercharger pulley or re map of some kind !

Try "Speer chip tuning " in Germany , I bought a new bottom pulley that fits over the existing one complete with new belt for a 2002 230 slk . It was milled from aluminium and secured to the existing pulley with grub screws , he also re mapped it when I was passing on route to the ring .
The pulley is an easy diy if your ok with spanners and makes a noticeable difference , the re map smooths things out . It proved reliable over the 30000 miles it was fitted by myself and the guy I sold it to , and it didn't get an easy life .
I'm sure Speer offer a similar kit for the newer models .
