Trying to get an idea of the spread of service A costs for a W205 C63 - this for its first service. Quoted £408 so far....but if there are cheaper quotes be good to know to exert some pressure on the price!
Cheers!

Mine was ~£300 and included a reduction since I supplied my own oil, purchased from a franchised dealer on Ebay for around £30 delivered.

Cheapest I’ve had is £370 all inclusive, so will go with that I think.

Try putting your regn no. in MB's online service booking system and try different dealers to get the actual quotes. They will vary, a little, but it obviously depends where you are based. The £370-£400 sounds about right for a main dealer; whether that's good value for an oil change and a 'free' coffee is different issue.

I find they don't seem so keen to price match or 'discount' any more since everything started moving online and also onto service plans.

I’ll try the online system and also go back to the dealer and great idea to see what they’ll do if I provide the oil. I’ve seen an MB dealer selling the correct oil on ebay.

I’ve just checked the invoices from latest three services across our cars and MB dealer are not really marking up the price of the oil.

If you own the car go have a chat with the service manager and see what they can do. With a bit of persuasion they seem to be cheaper than decent indies now. If you’re leasing they might not be so flexible.
