Been offered a deal on PCP for a e350 coupe premium plus at 10k per annum, 3 years £4k in and about £520 a month.

How does that compare to deals others have got?

Not driven the 350 only the 300. Anyone any experience with it long term?

Well, if it helps I’ve been offered an E350 cabriolet, Premium Plus, Metallic Paint, 20” Alloys and leather for 6 + 35 / 10k a year at £594 inc VAT a month (lease). So £3,564 ‘deposit’. Not dissimilar to yours, given the additional cost of the convertible I don’t think?

I’d really like an E450, but it’s knocking on £8k more list price for the 6 cylinder engine and 4matic, and I’m struggling to see the value in that, given it’s more than £100 a month more if leased for not that much more performance!

I haven’t driven the 300, 350 or 450 petrol though... but I have driven the 300 in a C class, and a C43 which is a lower powered version of the 450 engine as far as I can make out. While the C43 was amazing, day to day I’d go for the 300 anyway so I’m assuming an E350 will feel similar performance wise to an C300 smile

Cheers. I drove the e300 and it was uneventful but very refined. Having test drove a S5 previously I was let down by performance obviously but made up with the interior. The cab is a stunner so that sounds a great deal

Yes, the exhaust of the C43 sounded far better than then C300, but I notice that the brochure claims both the E300 and E350 have a ‘sports exhaust’, whatever that means... And the 350 has 50bhp more than the 300; 299bhp sounds like it should be sufficient for what is fundamentally a cruiser not a sports car!

Making a final decision on this this week. Going to look at the car this weekend in rubellite red which is the colour I would likely go with. Looks great when they dechrome the windows with the night pack too (just need to check it looks right in flesh. Only seen the colour on the GLs so far

I’d be interested in what you think of rubellite red; quite fancy it myself!

So I did order one in rubellite red in the end, and it was delivered earlier this week. Never seen one in this colour...until the day it was delivered, when another one parked next to me laugh

We got a great lease deal on a E300 premium convertible back in July, delivery November. Merc then started saying it might be next year, not sure on delivery times, might cancel, unable to fulfil.... A real pain as my wifes 4 series was going back that last week!

Luckily wessex leasing then found a stock car for £20pm more but better engine/spec, making the deal even better - now a E350 prem plus cab with black pack in dark grey. 8k miles pa on a 1+23 term at £475pm! Its my wifes car but shes working so i get to pick it up in 10 days!!! cool

How are you finding it? My wifes gone from a 435 cab to this and is a little worried about the extra girth and length!

Well for me it replaces an M235 convertible, and while it’s clearly bigger thats’s not particularly noticeable when driving. The 360 degree parking camera thing is also very very good, so I don’t think she needs to worry coming from a 4 series. I was concerned it’d feel a bit slow (I know it’s not) compared to the 235i but it’s fine. 0 to 60 is 6 seconds I think, which is a second slower than the 2 series. But mine was manual so in reality the MB is probably just as swift. It’s also a lot more economical, and it comes as standard with a sports exhaust which sounds pretty good. Though I assume the sound is enhanced somehow, as it’s much quieter in ‘comfort’. Mind you, that’s also true of the BMW. Comfortable as well. Early days, but I’m pleased smile

The colour, I suspect, is an acquired taste. I love it, but it changes massively depending on the light. I ordered it with a dark red roof and saddle brown leather. MB have the paint / leather combination as ‘not recommended’ and the roof / leather combination also as ‘not recommended’. I think it works though smile

It's a great hood/paint/interior combination - can't see why it'd be "not recommended".
