OK so, I am seriously thinking about purchasing some aftermarket alloys.
I've checked sizes, ET, compatibility and all seems to be in order looking at the website.
Has anyone on here dealt with a company called Wheelbase and/or a wheel called 3SDM.
Any comments, good or otherwise would be appreciated. Thanks.

Wheelbase have been around for ages so I doubt there are any issues there. 3sdm are a relatively new UK based company manufacturing wheels doing rehashed versions of classic wheels and new original designs.

I've not seen a set of well used 3sdm to comment on the quality/longevity as I'm a bit of a wheel tart and tend to stick to BBS, Enkie, OZ or Advan

Hi Nick67
Thanks for your response. Yes, I read your previous message and I had a look at the options.
As it is not an immediate urgency, I am taking a while to sort all the alternatives.

Dave, thanks for the helpful feedback
I will probably go with the 3SDM's and will post on their condition in about six to nine months.
Assuming of course, that I haven't wrecked them with all the pot holes in the meantime

3SDM are a decent wheel - know a couple of people with them and no quality issues whatsoever

Andy, that's reassuring. The 3SDM website looks very good and when I spoke directly to Wheelbase and they were very helpful too.
I must say I do like the look of 3SDM alloys and will probably order some this week together with the tyre package.
Although I couldn't see any mention of TPMS and locking wheel nuts (probably me not looking hard enough!) they can
supply all the goodies as well which is great. They also have Michelin Pilot Sport 4s in the correct sizes. Brilliant.
Will keep you posted once the deed is done.

I've bought several sets of wheels/tyres off Wheelbase (both expensive and budget) over the years and they have always been excellent.

I bought a cheap set of wheels for a Mazda 6 from them and two of the wheels had very slight damage to the inner lip.... Wheelbase offered a full refund, replacement wheels or a good healthy discount on the two with damage without me even asking.

They have been around for years and are a pretty large outfit so I wouldn't worry about using them.
