Price List or Options List for 2015 Mercedes AMG GT please
Discussion
Good morning all,
I'm seriously considering a 2015 or 2016 Mercedes AMG GT S and I'm looking at a few on the market now which are £6xk, fitting nicely into my budget. I've got to get my head around having a couple again, as I've always had convertibles, but I love the look of them.
So firstly, any first hand experience comments are welcome.
Secondly, does anyone have a price list or options list for the 2015 and 2016 cars? What was standard, what was an optional extra? What packs contained what?
It would also be useful to know any differences between these cars and the latest models for sale. I know they look different, but in terms of specification, infotainment, chassis, suspension etc.
Many thanks,
Dan

Can't help you with options/packs etc but I drive a 2015 GTS Edition 1 which came with most packs as standard along with a carbon fibre roof and front and rear spoilers.
Haven't looked at the price differential between the Ed 1 and a regular GTS but might be worth you considering, I went for the ED 1 on looks and the fact that there were only 35 UK cars which I thought might help residuals, not sure about the latter!
Really enjoy mine, a great daily in Comfort mode but Sport+ transforms the car although in that mode it's probably a little too firm for long journeys, definitely a car that looks better in the flesh that in pictures.
Not sure where to go next, I'm tempted by a GTC roadster although the coupe looks better, there are significant changes between a 2015 car and the facelift.

Thanks. I'm coming from a convertible which I'll really miss, so I'm sure I would want to have the glass panoramic roof on the Premium model. I have an old brochure.
The premium pack comes with Keyless Go, mirror package, AMG door sills illuminated, Burmester surround system, panoramic sunroof, parktronic and reversing camera. In Oct 2014 that was £4195.
Driving assistance pack comes with lane keeping assist, pre-safe anticipatory system and is only available in conjunction with the Premium pack. £995
Interior trim packs...AMG black diamond (air vents, centre console and door armrest trims in black) was £695....AMG high gloss carbon fibre trim for all of above and cross bar also in CF was £2995, Matt black variant or Matt silver CF was same price at £2995
There’s quite a lot of other optional equipment that can be bought and obviously can / can’t be combined dependant on what is already in one of the packs.
I enjoyed and missed my GTS when I sold it, but I found the noise generated by the cavernous boot space and the roar from the wide rear tyres quite intrusive. I had the all tyres changed. I now have a GTC Roadster which is much quieter (inside) and has a wider stance and look with the Panamerica grill.
I have had quite a sampling of cars and have come back to AMG. Only other coupe I’d consider now would be a Vantage V12.....
Good luck.
Regards, Brin
