Hi All,

Expecting delivery of my new lease soon (A Class 180 AMG Line) and was wondering if Merc have anything similar to VCDS that is used in VAG cars?

I know they have a lot of hidden features which can be enabled via VCDS so just wanted to know if Merc have an equivalent/something similar?

Thanks

Mercedes STAR.

There are also other 'service menu' / 'dealer menu' type facilities which are accessed through combinations of button presses or, in the case of the hateful MBUX, menus and swipes.

Many thanks for that.

Do you know if the 10.25" screen(s) on the A Class can be 'enabled' via software? I know the standard screens are 7" so just got me thinking the hardware is there, its just that the 7" doesn't fill the whole screen - if that makes sense?

I'm pretty sure it's physically smaller screens with a larger bezel, having seen a lower spec car - you can see where the screen and bezel meet.

Ah ok - I must admit I haven't received delivery of mine so was only guessing but yeah I thought what I was suggesting would be too good to be true.

Thanks
