Going to have a look at this

Anything obvious to look out for? I have a 2005 E500 back in the UK and can't fault it.

I've got one of these. Nice cars. They pass most things apart from petrol stations biggrin

A few things to look out for would be the electrics as in make sure everything works, rocker cover gaskets leaking oil, clunky suspension components. This one looks like no airmatic? They're a bit wallowy to drive compared to a normal car but a nice great barge for cruising about in.

Also check to see if the gearbox has had an oil/filter change even at that mileage.

Thanks for the reply!

Been laid up with a bad leg for the last week so not seen it yet, but does anyone know how to access the service menu, service due etc through the steering wheel buttons?
I believe it's turn ignition to position 2, then press the 'R' button 3 times and finally use the arrows to find the option? Is that it or do you then start the car to run the diagnostic?

Believe it's a W164 model if that helps.

Thanks again
