GLC, stating SatNav Ready??

Hi,

I have been looking at a 2016 GLC 220, and came across one from the big car supermarkets.

They state its "Sat Nav Ready" with a 7" Garmin Pilot SD card slot.

But they have a picture showing this....



Is there a fault? why would somebody remove the card?

can't think why someone would remove said card - but be prepared to be bent over to get a new one fitted!

Looks normal to me. 'Sat Nav Ready' really means as the name suggests, i.e it's Ready for Sat Nav but may not necessarily have it fitted

The SD card would've been optional on some entry level models. You can get it yourself of eBay pretty cheaply and easily to retrofit.

£500, even as an aftermarket accessory from Mercedes. Does the car have Apple/Android car-play? If so, just use Google or Waze instead. Glad I didn’t part with £500.

As for one off eBay, I’d politely suggest you don’t. It’s riddled with fakes.

They get nicked by someone in the chain handling the car. Then get sold on eBay.
