I've had my very dependable daily hack (Accord Estate 2.4) for quite a number of years, its done sterling work needing only an alternator and gearbox pressure switch in its 125k mile life. However, familiarity breeds contempt and I think it's time for something new (to me) to look at every day.

I need a large estate, only want petrol, want to stick with auto and a bit of poke. It's sad that there's nothing from Honda which will fit the bill so after much much research I seem to have landed on the W212. Problem is they're like rocking horse dumps however I will wait for the right one. The 350 is the obvious choice but the 250 (1.8t) seems a tad more common and slightly better VFM. If I went for a 250 I'd be tempted to get map done with a local company who uses a rolling road to develop the map.

What's the PH collective thoughts on the 350 & 250? any experiences? what to look for?
