Afternoon all,

Hopefully a simple one, does the C63 AMG have radar/adaptive cruise control? If so what is it called, is it standard fitment to all model years?
If not standardm, is there a way to tell from photos if it is fitted?

Thanks

I thought it was known as DISTRONIC in Mercedes speak. But yeah an option from the factory either way

Does the steering wheel or stalk have any distinctive icons or symbols on a Distronic car versus one with 'normal' cruise control?

Some traders don't seem to know the difference, or at least, how to establish if a particular car has those options

Thanks

The additional driver aids seem to be really rare on the 204 series, not sure I've ever seen one with adaptive cruise. They have normal cruise, as standard.

A couple of pics of my E500 with Distronic.

On the stalk have an extra twist control - this sets the gap between you car you are following. It's the middle section on the picture.

Regular Cruise Control stalks just have at the + & - set button on the end of the stalk.

The second clue is the star in the grill. On a Distronic car its a shiny plastic flush unit. On a regular CC car the black section star is recessed back to the grill.

If you can find a car with Distronic and Blind Spot Assist (look for illuminated triangles in the lower part of the door mirrors) its well worth having.

That is exactly what i was looking for, thanks very much all.

Now to find a C63 AMG facelift estate with it, and all the other options/colours/features i like

its going to be a challenge.

Thanks

Matt

I have it on my w204 c63, and agree it is very rare. I find it little aggressive when re building speed
