Looking to change the second car and looking at all options, the C43 cabrio has came up.

List for a car with premium is circa £59k discounted to circa £52k. We would look to PCP it which has an APR of 6.9% and over a 4yr term with 10% deposit you're looking at around £700mth.

Has anyone managed to get a greater discount and APR % on new ?

Try carwow. I got 16% off the pre-facelift C63 without any effort at all.

Edit: Purchased in Nov 2017. So a good way before the facelift was announced.

Also have a look at approved used, as dealers have lots of pre-reg cars in the system. A quick look shows me a 68 plate with 85 miles at Mercedes Husddersfield for £48.7k (it will prob have zero miles).

I bought my C63 pre-reg from them in June - they were great. 25% off list and 6.5% APR.

Do you have a link ? I can't see that on the Merc approved.

Got 12% off list and 5.9 APR on ours. Cancelled order but amended spec and love it!

Still came in at £58k...

Make sure you go facelift!

Sure - it’s actually on autotrader but hopefully here’s the link. Good spec as well with the premium pack, sports exhaust and 360 camera.

Thanks, well spec'd car and a nice colour.

A 6.8% APR PCP deal with £5k deposit and 6k miles is £590 over 4yrs. Still too toppy, really looking for something starting with a 4 each month. I'll have a look around some of the approved used which has some miles and see what comes up.

It was from various independent lenders, it wasn't taken from MB. Their APR was too high.

I got a c43 saloon from a list price of £54k down to £45k with carwow. Didn’t even have to try. It was an unregistered stock car but it had most of the options I wanted and was available immediately.

I was expecting the usual ‘Internet price’ handover but the wife arrived at the dealers and we were taken to a hotel across the road where all the new cars were lined up in the car park waiting for collection. The dealers had hired a small function room and had a buffet laid on. We got taken round the car and then the guy came out for a drive with us to make sure everything was good. It was a very nice experience.
