Hi all

Found a leak on a hose joint which refuses to quit leaking. The hose comes from radiator to somewhere deep in engine bay and is emptying my power steering fluid. I've put just under a litre through the car in a few days. It's making a h3ll of a mess of anywhere I park too. Can anyone tell me A. Can I put a jubilee clip around the top of this joint to cure it and B. If not, the part no of this hose?

Many thanks

I should add its leaking out of top of hose on left hand side of image.

The hose in the centre of the picture already has a second clamp around it. Is this the one leaking?
If so I would try removing both clamps and fitting one new decent clamp in the location of the original clamp.

Yeah, a sensible place to start. Though I was loathe to hack this off as it's on really tight and didn't know how to get at it without potentially damaging the hose. Any ideas? And what are these clips called? Like a jubilee clip without the screw mechanism.

I don’t know the correct name, but my experience is that they are not reusable. They have a sort of hook on one end which locks over the other end.
I resort to using pliers to twist them off at the hook end, they get mangled so make sure you have a good clamp to go back on.
