Hi all,
New to Pistonheads forums, trying to shed a bit of light on what I have.

So, here goes, I have a Mercedes CLS55 AMG ('56 plate) , usual AMG spec with a few extras, like laurel dash/door card inserts and 19" AMG wheels etc. but it also has a badge on the passenger side of the dash, rectangular in shape, AMG logo and says Special Edition - looked online and only special edition ones I found are the IWC and the President's models and suspect it may have been previously owned by a Pistonhead member as it has a PH sticker on the upper centre of the rear screen. It does feel much quicker than the 479bhp on spec (previously had an S6 5.2 V10 but definitely the AMG way more lairy, much more fun too, legally of course)

Is it like this one? If so then the previous owner probably just bought it on ebay.

It is exactly like that, apart from that it isn't coloured in, suspected aftermarket badge, not seen on any others though

Given their apparent attitude to maintaining brakes and tyres, that seems eminently likely.

This shouldn't be news but I have never googled my reg number!

Just have now though and pleased to say there are no negative comments against me!

Brakes are due to be replaced before next mot, have all been replaced whilst I've had the car and new compressor fitted for air-ride suspension

Car like this has to have good brakes

Conservative driving keeps the tyres decent lol, try not to use brake but engine braking is a bit harsh hahaha
