E-Class wanted

Hi,

I've managed to convince my dad to ditch his LS400 and get a Mercedes.

Been doing some reading and it would appear that the new shape E class is the one for him.

The budget is roughly 25k. He won't be putting a lot of mileage on the car. 10k miles per annum at the very most.

The options he must have are leather seats, sat nav and parking aid. Also must be an Avantgarde. I don't think he wants (or needs) a car with too big an engine either.

Can you folk tell me what I need to look out for, which models are better/worse than others? What are must have options etc?

And lastly, where (apart from Auto Trader and Mercedes Benz Direct) I should be looking?

I'm in the west London area.
