Noob question - harmon kardon head unit - copying cd's to hd

So, i'd have hoped / thought that it'd be possible to copy the cd's to the hdd, but cant find anywhere in the menu's to do so. Dont tell me I have to covert them all to mp3 first then move to the hdd via the sd card or usb mp3 memory card?

Yeah, I’m pretty sure that’s what you have to do. Certainly, it’s what I did. Fortunately I did have everything on mp3 anyway.

pretty sure you can do it via CD but it has to be MP3
