I see litchfield tune the c63, but seem to get less power than msl claim to, are slightly cheaper to use too.. Which tunining company would get your vote..
I only looked at Litchfield because theyre closer to me !!

I had mine tuned by DMS in Southampton. I rank Litchfield too regarding knowledge, facilities, a warranty and history. Many 'fanboys' rave about MSL, I have never been to their place in Birmingham, they know their stuff but I doubt they are any better than the established tuners. DMS did more than just upgrade the ECU on mine.

Give GAD a call

http://gadtuning.co.uk/

Anthony and Will know their stuff and are very approachable. A friend has had his E63 tuned there and I have had a Quaife diff fitted and both of us are very happy with the service and the way the owners treat their clients thumbup

I recently got my C63S and followed the advice on the owners forum and went with MSL for a remap, they really know their stuff with Mercs. It was a bit of a trek from the Highlands but well worth it

I suppose I'd be considered an MSL "fanboy" as I spent many happy hours there with my last E63. It started with them lending me a tuning box to try out as, at the time, nobody had found a way into the ECU on the W212. This was about 5 years ago now. Typically, the ECUs were sussed out not long after the box was fitted but not before I sent mine to the States to Weistec Engineering who mapped it. MSL did all the necessary work, including all shipping and persuading Weistec to give a good discount.

I since had loads of stuff done to it, including bigger turbos and a rebuilt transmission, which was all done by MSL.

To be honest, there are lots of companies who are now prepared to map these cars but MSL were there from the start and, as such, probably have a lot more experience than most with them. They also have live access to Eurocharged in the US and Big Fish Tuning up near Middlesborough, both of who specialise in custom mapping and have done lots of work with Mercedes.

Another good reason for using MSL is that, in the event of something going wrong, they won't shrug their shoulders and come out with the "Not our problem mate", they will make sure that the car is up and running properly.

Oh, and one or two of the "courtesy cars" I've had over the years have been interesting...

As Dave mentioned, MSL for AMG mapping and tuning all the way! No place better!

I went to MSL, treated well. The car was setup perfectly and Acid made time to go through the process with me. I'm now tempted by the 507 bonnet, the black edition spoiler and canards as its feeling a bit floaty at higher speeds..
