Are they diamond cut?

I took a wheel in for repair the other day and they scraped the edge of the wheel, they wouldnt admit fault but said theyd repair it.. If thats not admission i dont know what is. They did say that the wheel is supposed to be diamond cut and not pained.. Is this true?

Slightly off topic - have you had any problems with cracking on the inside of the wheels?

I've got the same wheels and noticed one corner losing air slowly, tyre seemed fine so took the wheel off and noticed a crack in the wheel. Checked the other wheels and there's another cracked one! Looking for a set of 18" wheels with tyres on eBay now - they don't look as good but ride should be better, cheaper tyres and I won't be as scared of potholes.

Yeah all on the inside.. I like the star shape 18s. What tyres do they run,?

I think they're 235 front, 255 rear.

It seems like there are three options - live with it (and keep an eye on tyre pressures - not ideal!), get a repair done, or buy new wheels. I think the wheels are around £700 from MB.

How did you deal with it?

They're 500 a wheel z thankfully I've a mate who works for merc, here so can get then for 390.
