C Class Radio Station listing problem

Hi, I've got a 2016 C250D Sport saloon, owned from new and with the standard FM/DAB radio. In the last couple of weeks its developed an intermittent problem with the radio listings in that it becomes incapable of listing more than a couple of dozen or so radio stations. Where I live (Cheshire) we get good DAB reception therefore a lot of available stations but when this new problem manifests itself I struggle to get past about 'BBC R1' or so, and lets face it no one wants to get stuck there!.

It's like it is running out of memory but if so, why is it intermittent ?.

Any clues on a fix for this most welcome.

Have you inadvertently selected 'presets : on' from the menu, which would allow you only to scroll through your preset stations (a maximum of 10)? You will need to un-select this option for all available stations to be present.

Doh!

Having said that the some of the radio options have a life of their own, in particular the pesky TA Traffic Alert option sets itself to ON at will
