I have found out that I have a faulty air mass sensor, the one that is an integral part of the pipe that joins the air filters and the turbo on a 2013 CLS. I was thinking that it must be possible to get a faulty one where someone has replaced the whole part (they have two sensors) and cut out the good one and build it into my existing unit?

They are about £800 new and struggling to get another second hand. Tight or just feeling annoyed that they should be removable. A bit of both wink

Just buy a new intake pipe?

Loads of second hand pipes about, hardly an uncommon part.

Make sure you buy a NEW red turbo seal and pop a bit of oil on it and take care when fitting!

Maybe I need to widen the net, tried breakerlink, some specialist breakers and they are rare.
