After some help if anyone has any ideas. I’ve a C Class w205 MY17.5 with the upgraded comand system. I know I can play Apple Music through the music interface (plugged into the USB port) and I can control / search music through the comand system

I want to use Spotify instead of Apple Music (I’ve got sonos ones at home and use Spotify with them as Apple Music isn’t compatible with the voice integration through Alexa with them). So rather than pay £15 a month for me and the family for Apple Music and then pay £10 a month for Spotify I’d like to save some cash if I can. Also to be honest I prefer Spotify.

So anyone any ideas? I know I can play via Bluetooth but quality isn’t great and seems to be very quiet compared to via the USB.

Can you use Spotify through usb on the comand system?

On our E you can USB the phone, select Apple car play in the media section then go into Spotify, not had an in depth play with it yet though so can't say what the quality is like or if it will do all you want it to

Get it enabled then. Talk to MBenzNL on Facebook and they are very adept at getting these things sorted, and reasonably priced. All I had to do was invent a good reason for SCN coding of COMAND at the main dealer under warranty.
