I experienced this today for the second time. On cruise control at 70mph. Slight uphill incline and I noticed that there was a hesitation and the gearbox changed down. I applied maximum throttle which had no effect. After about 10 seconds, all was well and back to normal. No warning lights.
This is the second time it has happened, first time was a few weeks ago after which I had it connected to Star but no faults were logged. Oddly enough, it happened on the same stretch of road the first time. It has been fine since.
Car is a CLS 250 SB, 44k miles. First time, it was low on fuel, today, 3/4 full.
Any suggestions please?
