Parking sensors problem after new battery

hi Guys,
im new here and would appreciate any help. after having a new battery fitted to my 2008 clk 350 convertible the front and rear parking sensors just died.
I have checked the fuses and changed the parktronic module.
Neither has worked has anyone got any other ideas?

On my ML if I get a parktronic issue it switches both front and rear sensors off regardless of where the fault is this may be why both front and rear have stopped working.
I have a code scanner with access to the parktronic modules which allows me to see live data reported by each sensor. On other cars I have listened to the sensor itself to diagnose a duff one. On a mini for instance they click when in use.
I assume you have done a visual inspection of the sensors to check for fly splatter or damage from stones etc.
