Hi, is there an easy way to tell if a W205 C-Class has DISTRONIC (Adaptive Cruise) fitted? I understand from the factory this was part of the 'Driver Assistance Pack', but it's proving difficult to find used examples with this option as most places don't list the spec properly!

Can anyone recommend a reliable spec check website which would list it via the VIN? Or are there any visual pointers? I thought the badge looked different if they've got it but not sure anymore scratchchin

Have a look at the MB star on the front grille. If it's filled in it should have Distronic

Get the vin and then go on to

http://carinfo.kiev.ua/cars/vin/mercedes/vin_check

Code 233 - next to the individual items of the driving package

233 = Distronic
235 = Active Park
237 = Active Blind Spot
238 = Active Lane Keeping
23P = Driving Package

I have seen vehicles with 23P but not 233 so I dont think it is part of the package.

Once you've got your VIN, take it to your local MBZ dealer and I'm sure they'll print out the specific spec / build sheet of your car.
