Wow! I can’t help but feel this is the last nice SL ever made, just looks a lot more solid and put together, the latest model looks like a crime against humanity with the daft diamond grill and all the wheel designs that all seem to be black or half black, I’m no SL customer and will never be fortunate enough to buy a new one however I wished they’d have left the black wheels and aggressive body kits to the lesser models and maintain the elegance the R129 had.

That said a facelift R230 SL55/65 is a thing of beauty.
