Have tried various threads and forums but still looking for help please. Wiper became intermittent. Then stopped. Restarted. Stopped again. First time you could nudge them to finish the cycle. And I also lost the faster speed setting.

First time I ave removed and stripped motor and all seemed OK. Regreased on reassembly. Cannot now move the arm from the rest position as the gears seem to be engaging. So don't think it is mechanical.

Fuse was OK but swapped it anyway. Washers have always worked.

Relay is clicking. It clicks regularly on the intermittent setting. But there is also a repeated clicking on the continuous setting. Wasn't expecting that? The soldered contacts all look OK. Would be prepared to source a new relay (N10?) if that were the problem.

Otherwise not sure what to do next. Not sure if voltage at the motor is too low?

Next I am thinking of applying 12 volts to the motor to check it turns over. Which sockets or wires should I use?

Any further advice or thoughts very welcome.

Sounds like the stalk you can try pulling it apart and cleaning the contacts, there are on line guides or get a replacement one

Thanks. Will try that next. And also see whether I am getting 12v to the connector plug and if applying 12v there helps.
