Hi all,

I've recently bought a C63 AMG circa 2012, that's proving highly entertaining in these wet and wintery conditions.

Question is, the suspension does not change when you rotate between Comfort, Sport and Sport+ on the toggle.

It's got the Perfomance Pack on it, but the other three I drove before this one, all had a marked difference between 'C' and 'S'

I'm thinking that the adjustable suspension has been replaced at some point, or there's something that's gone wrong with the existing set-up.

Anyone else had this, or have and suggestions on how to fix or rectify?

Thanks in advance
RR

I didn’t think they altered the suspension just the throttle response and gear changes.
The sport button puts it into ‘sports handling mode’ which I thought also just changed the traction control settings.

The one I tested before this one had a softer sprung setting in Comfort, then stiffened up in Sport.

Do they have variations?

Thx

Mine doesn’t change the suspension either.

The toggle button is simply for the gearbox, the suspension isn't "adaptable", not even as an optional extra.

The toggle switch changes throttle pedal and gearbox settings only but i agree the car does stiffen up and ride stiffer when in S or S+ over the C setting.

Thanks for the posts smile

Spoke to Mercedes on Friday, there was no adaptive damping on the C63.

The Performance Pack does have slightly stiffer dampers and springs when compared to the standard pack.

Cheers
