Mercedes-Benz CL420 seat problems

Hi i’m having issues with the seats on both driver & passenger not moving forward automatically to let the passengers in the back. Normally you press the round switch by the side of the seat & it tilts the back rest which then moves the seat forward however this has stopped working. On both driver & passenger seat you don’t have to press the switch on the side of the seat to tilt the back rest forward it just tilts forward & backwards by it self. The motor & fuses don’t seem to be a problem as the controls on the door allow you to move the seats back & forward & same with the headrest. Can anyone help? Also at the same time the passenger seat belt extender doesn’t automatically come out. You have to press the switch by the gear stick to let the seat belt come out automatically. If anyone can help. Sounds as though something needs resetting but I do not know what. I had an issue on my 209 where the headrests would rise randomly and my local indy carried out a reset which fixed it.

Mine (1998) doesn't have a switch for the seat belt extender so this is intriguing

Yeah it's definitely a reset thing which I've had help from other people but still not doing it. Other than this it s a lovely motor.
